WINTER FUN IN LAKE ARROWHEAD

Just because Old Man winter is here, doesn't mean we don't have fun in Lake Arrowhead. We do!
Below I've added a few things you can do while visiting the local mountains. So, bundle up, come on up and have some winter fun!


1. National Forest Association of San Bernardino, spring, summer, fall and WINTER our forest folks always have something exciting to offer. Check it out.
2.Rim Nordic cross county skiing OR regular skiing at one of our local mountain resorts.
3. WildHaven : Their motto is "Preserving wildlife helps heal the human spirit." and it's easy to see that they mean it, when you visit this awesome place.
4.Lake Arrowhead Village: Take a casual walk around the Village, shop and dine or...
5. Take a tour on the Arrowhead Queen. On the tour you'll learn so much information about Lake Arrowhead, but especially the "movie stars" of yesteryear!
6. Rim Bowling: Okay, now this really is a year round activity... what are you waiting for?

See! So many things to do in Lake Arrowhead and other mountain communities. ;-)

It's the most wonderful time of the year.... Time for the Christmas holiday events to begin in Lake Arrowhead, Blue Jay and other mountain communities. And one of our biggest holiday events is THE CHRISTMAS PARADE in BLUE JAY.
You'll want to bundle up the kiddies (and yourself) , as it will be a bit nippy out. Bring a thermos of hot cocoa or coffee, something to sit on, and come on up & come on out for some Christmas fun.

Thanksgiving Week in Lake Arrowhead ~ Nov 2012

Thanksgiving Week in Lake Arrowhead! Can you believe that we're already in the Holiday season? Me either! Where does time go? Honestly, though, this is one of my favorite times of the year. I love the cool, crisp air, yummy goodies being baked and shared, and the smiling folks lucky enough to live on our mountain or to have a mountain cabin to sneak up to every chance they get. If you're up on the mountain this Holiday week, enjoy yourself. Take a trip to The Village and do some Christmas shopping, grab a meal at one of our local restaurants or take a stroll around Lake Gregory. ARROWHEAD QUEEN, Lake Arrowhead

One of the best (& most fun) ways to get to know Lake Arrowhead is to take an hour long boat ride on The Arrowhead Queen ! You'll be fascinated listening to the Captain, as he shares all the exciting details about our lake & the history of the film industry's involvement here in Lake Arrowhead.
